Trinity Missions Update 7/19/19

Hi, Missions Team!

Here's the update for this week.

July Team Meeting Notes:

We covered a lot of information during our meeting this past Sunday!  Please take some time to review the team meeting notes, especially the notes on team roles.  If you would like to weigh in on changes to any of the proposed roles, please reply to this email with your thoughts. Next week, I will send out a Google Sheet, which you will use to select your preferred role.

Next Team Meeting:

For our August team meeting, we will meet Sunday, August 11th, at 8:30am in the overflow room.  We will plan to meet the 2nd Sunday of every month, except on months where we schedule a longer meeting (details TBD).

Praying for Missionaries:

Here's our missionary prayer schedule(ish) for the next several weeks.  (This schedule may change due to whose requests we receive first, whether they were covered during Enews/Prayers of the People that week, etc.)By the dates listed below, please send updated prayer requests to [email protected] or update your missionary's prayer request doc (click on your missionary's folder; you'll find the doc there):July 23rd - SalcedosJuly 30th - SuzanneAugust 6th - RUF/DerekAugust 13th - JuanAugust 20th - Polks

Praying for Us:

Just as we pray for our missionaries, we want to be intentional to pray for one another.  Here are the requests we gathered from this past meeting:

  • Donald - accepted to McMaster Divinity College; pray for transition to Ontario in August and all the details that go with that

  • Carol - pray for spiritual discipline; it’s been a dry spiritual season for me

  • Janet - pray for us as we make decisions regarding kids for the fall; pray for peace and God’s wisdom, not our own wisdom

  • Stephanie - logistics of school for Donald and telling my workplace that I’m leaving (they won’t be happy)

  • Reagan - wisdom with ministry teams; parents’ health

  • David - just learned one of his mentors died; pray for him as he deals with grief; feeling tired; support raising

(Diane and John, please feel free to share any prayer requests you may have as well!)

That's it for this week.  Thankful for you all!- David & Reagan
