Hi, !

Short Version (1 min.)

Home Ministry Assignment: We recently traveled to California from October 8th to 22nd, where we had the chance to visit family, friends, and donors we hadn’t seen in a long time. We spent one week in Orange County, then traveled down to San Diego County to continue reconnecting with everyone. It was a wonderful time to renew those relationships. We also baptized all of the kids on this trip! Checkout the video below.

Seminary Progress: This summer, I completed both my Greek II and Pauline Epistles courses. I did not pass Greek II and will be repeating it again starting this month. Got to keep pushing! Pray that I can get a C! I performed very well in the Pauline Epistles course and also completed a research paper on Ephesians 6:10-13, aiming to deepen my understanding of spiritual warfare and the nature of the demonic. Let me know if you’d be interested in reading it. The gospel outreach and fight in this world is indeed not with flesh and blood.

501(c)(3) Nonprofit Progress: Over the past couple of months, I have finally been able to meet with our board to determine and ratify the budget, job description, and the formal hiring of my position as the new Executive Director of Missionaryish Inc. Now that we are formally incorporated, the IRS requires us to document and finalize the minutes, establish a job description for nonprofit leadership, and draft a budget for the next three years. All this must be done as we inch closer to submitting the paperwork to receive nonprofit status. Trinity Presbyterian OC remains our fiscal partner as we continue to work on this transition.

Just One This Time: We’re expecting a baby boy this coming spring! This was a big surprise for us, and it’s just one baby this time. Oh, the Lord does have a sense of humor. As we were giving away all of our baby supplies, we found out! He’s due in April!

Support Raising Efforts: Pray that we can reach this goal from now until next year. We are currently at 45% of our estimated needs. As we plan to transition out of Trinity as a fiscal partner, there will be much more overhead that we will need to raise funds for. We will remain core ministry partners with Trinity as we continue to aim for RUFi in the coming years.

This recent trip to California was a real treat. We had a chance to sabbath in the midst of the grueling schedule (3-4 meetings a day). Our friends Moses and Mikaela helped by watching our four kids for a night, giving us a chance to get away for a bit. It’s probably been 10 years since I was last at Coronado, but it was wonderful to stay nearby again. And don’t worry—we didn’t stay at the Hotel del Coronado. That would’ve been beaucoup bucks! We opted for a more discount version and walked there instead!

Long Version (2-3 min per update)

This update was made about a month ago and I didn't have a chance to finish everything until now. But its been updated with the latest videos and images especially our HMA video!

Support Update:

Ministry of FundraisingOur financial support goal has increased to account for inflation, seminary costs, supporter visits, basic operating expenses, and our family’s needs. Unfortunately, some of our donors have had to transition out due to illness, loss, or job instability. Despite these challenges, we continue to trust that the Lord will provide. Currently, we are at 45% of our funding goal for the 2025 ministry year. As we plan to become a fully established 501(c)(3) organization, our financial needs have grown. We still need to raise the remaining 55%, which amounts to $8,815.83 per month. Thank you so much for your prayers and faithful support. To make giving easier, we’ve outlined options for both annual and monthly contributions. Monthly Support View Annual Support View Ministry of CoffeeJust as the apostle Paul relied on tent-making to fund his missionary journeys, we started a coffee business to supplement our income. The Lord has continued to bless our ministry through coffee, and we currently support 20 families each morning as they start their day! Our hope is that this business will one day serve not only as a means to care for our family but also as a vehicle for outreach into the community (RUFi). After all, who doesn’t love a hot cup of coffee? Especially international students looking to study with the choicest of beverages.

All proceeds directly support our family. Check out our offerings:  www.faithfulsaintcoffee.com
