Long Version (2 min)

Hi Family, 

Happy Easter! Hope you all are feeling rested and renewed by the reality of Christ’s work for us on the cross. I know I’m still learning to rejoice especially given the tough year that we’ve all been through. These past few months Reagan and I have tried something new. We wanted to give shorter more frequent updates that are high quality. 

After 3 months of trying frequent updates, we have noticed that we were also losing a number of friends from our list, friends who have been with us for many years, but started to leave our mailing list for various reasons. This is not a bad thing. We’re sad to see them leave, but also understand that our ministry may be something that they were no longer interested in following. All of us are bombarded everyday with so much mail in our inboxes, and so it's understandable that we need to prioritize our attention on things that matter most to us. 

With that said, we want to serve you better. Reagan and I have decided to clarify our direction for 2021. At the beginning of this year, my heart was to update you all with greater detail and frequency by doing short video updates. Was it going to be through our newsletter channel? Prayer list channel? Combine the two? Or just Youtube? We weren’t sure. But we knew we wanted to try something new. The thing that we struggled the most with through this new process was differentiation. What’s the point of being on all these channels if we are just given the same information?  

So moving forward we’d like to clarify how our various channels will work, at least for the next 3 months.
