Missionaryish 2025 Year-End Update
Your Partnership Is Shaping the Future of Missionaryish

Dear Missionaryish Family,
As we close out another year, I am more convinced than ever that God continues to call His people to serve faithfully in the places He has put them. At Missionaryish, we exist to help ordinary Christians live missionally, and your support makes this possible. Thank you for walking with us through a year of growth, transition, and preparation for the next chapter.
One of the central themes of Scripture is Jesus’ call to “go and make disciples of all nations.” This happens in many forms. Some serve in the church. Others care for the needy. Others take the gospel to the nations. For us, our calling is to equip believers to share the good news in their area of influence, whether here in our community or in places God will send us in the future.
This year our overall support grew by 25 percent, and your generosity has allowed us to build a stronger foundation for long-term ministry. God has been kind, and we are grateful.
This past year we:
• Completed all Koine Greek coursework. I was able to finish all three required Greek classes for my degree, a significant step toward completing my seminary training and preparing for future international outreach with RUF International.
• Seeking continued mentorship. Over the past year, I’ve met regularly with more than ten different mentors, ranging from ministry coaching to guidance in sustainable practices for marriage and parenting. The process never really ends; as you pour yourself out, you also need to receive. I also had the privilege of mentoring two ministry workers this past year during my breaks from school.
• Became an official 501(c)(3). Your support helped Missionaryish incorporate as a nonprofit and secure full 501(c)(3) status, giving us room to grow, partner, and serve with greater stability.
• Continued organic family outreach and mentorship. While much of my time was focused on studies and nonprofit formation, our family continued building genuine relationships in our community, especially as Reagan connected with neighbors, moms, and international families. We also started exploring creative ways to support future outreach and care for ministry families, including early work on compassion funds and sustainable support models. We hope to share more as these develop.
• Expanded theological writing. A new joy this year has been writing longer, reflective articles shaped by my seminary studies and day-to-day ministry experiences. These pieces allow me to bring together what I am learning, encourage believers who are walking through real-life challenges, and extend the teaching ministry of Missionaryish.
Jesus is still at work in places others often overlook, and we have seen this firsthand in our own neighborhood. Earlier this year, the Lord opened the door for us to help Sarah and her children during a difficult season, which reminded us how practical and close-to-home ministry often is. We have also been able to cultivate new friendships with both of our Bangladeshi neighbors who live next to us. One household leans politically conservative and the other leans liberal, yet God has given us natural ways to connect through simple acts of sharing life. The mother next door has walked through deep loss over the past few years and has very little community here. Through regular conversations, exchanged meals, and small moments of care, our families have started to grow close. It has been a joy to see God bring diversity and unexpected relationships even in a quiet corner of Oklahoma City, from international pastors planting churches to supporting missionaries in basic needs. These moments remind us that even in a busy season, the Lord keeps placing people in our path.
As we continue preparing for future international outreach, especially the long-term hope of serving with RUF International and strengthening Missionaryish’s vision to support more ministry workers through creative care and outreach, your prayers and support matter deeply. You help make this ministry sustainable, and you share in the fruit of every life touched.
Thank you for standing with us, praying for us, and believing in the mission God has given us. We are grateful to serve together with you as we live out this expression of the Great Commission.
Much Love in Christ,
David & Reagan

Our Goals for 2026
In 2026, our goal is to continue working toward finishing my biblical studies degree and to continue building on the expansion of Missionaryish’s teaching reach. While we understand that “neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow” (1 Cor. 3:7), our aim is to keep overhead low and be good stewards of the seed we have. In 2025, we endeavor to:
David to finish the remainder and apply to graduate from RTS (Reformed Theological Seminary) in December 2026.
Begin studying for the Hebrew certificate track and PCA ordination exam requirements.
Explore a vision for how Missionaryish can come alongside and encourage existing ministerial families.
We are always striving to be faithful stewards of the work God has given us, and of the financial support and resources YOU have entrusted to us.
In a few short weeks, we will send you our final support letter of the calendar year. Our hope is that you will partner with us in the seasons to come to further cultivate the work here while we are in a season of training in Oklahoma.
You are making a difference and we thank you!
