Hi, everyone!Sorry for the delayed update for this week.  We have been out of town and will be back by Wednesday afternoon.  Here's the scoop, in our new and improved format! 

Team Meeting:

Our first team meeting is scheduled for 12pm this Sunday, May 26th.  

  Skyview: 

Two weeks ago, Diane, Mindy, and Reagan went to Skyview School to meet with Mickey DeLaCruz, Skyview School's community resource specialist.  She gave us quite the rundown on the school, the population it serves, and ideas for ways we can partner.  We will share notes and a summary of the meeting on Sunday.This month, we are collecting donations of full-size hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouth wash, lotion (unscented), washcloths, loofahs, hairbrushes, combs, and feminine sanitary pads to church until Sunday, June 9th.  Boxes will be placed in the front foyer.  Thank you, Carissa, for setting up the donation box these past 2 weeks! 

Family Promise:

A neighboring church, First Christian Church of Orange, hosts homeless families for Family Promise a few times a year.  They have asked Trinity if we would be interested in helping them host.  We'll get some more info and talk about this during the meeting.

The Compassion Ministry of Trinity Presbyterian Church of Orange County seeks to serve people and communities in Orange County outside our church body by alleviating physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs, as well as sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through both words and actions.
