Mercy Monday 4/29/19

Hi, everyone!Sorry for dropping the ball last Monday. Since we are still working on getting things up and running, these may occur on a more as-needed basis from week to week. Wanted to follow up on our previous update:
Skyview:
Thanks to everyone who donated socks and underwear! The Orange community group got to go to Skyview School on Saturday to bring the donations, as well as help organize the school's donation pantry. David and I got to connect a bit with Kris Song and Eddie Hong, who said they were really encouraged by their interactions with the school's staff and also the staff's openness to us and any ideas our church may have for how we can come alongside them. Kris and Eddie also had some suggestions for item donations for a drive in May, TBA.Within the next few weeks, it would be great if a couple of us on the CT could go with either Kris or Melissa to visit the school and get to know them a little better. I'll be going; who else would like to go?(Kris and Melissa, if you would like us to know any more details about your time on Saturday, please feel free to "reply all"!)
Team Meeting:
Can we put our first team meeting on the calendar for 12pm on Sunday, May 26th, at church? This is Memorial Day weekend. If you have not already let me know, please reply to let me know if this meeting date works for you.
The Compassion Ministry of Trinity Presbyterian Church of Orange County seeks to serve people and communities in Orange County outside our church body by alleviating physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs, as well as sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through both words and actions.
