Dec 2018

It's Christmas Ta-m! (1-minute read... can you believe it?)

Merry (almost) Christmas, !

We are excited to send you a quick update and prayer request.

Go & Tell

In case we all haven't noticed, this world is messed up and needs Jesus.  David and I have been feeling more and more convicted to actually tell other people about Him.  (You too?  Check out the video below for one way to share the Gospel with people.)

Practice, try it out, then let us know how it goes.  Seriously, this is one of the most important things -- the most important thing? -- you could be doing with your time.)This Tuesday afternoon, I (Reagan) am going to try out some good, old-fashioned, cold-contact evangelism at a Walmart near church.  This is something I got to learn from a mixed-church group in Oklahoma City before I moved out here.  This group goes out to the same shopping center one afternoon a week to pray with and share about Jesus with people.  Sure, it can be a little awkward, but I've always been amazed at how many people express how grateful they are for the prayer and care they receive.  And, more than once, God has even healed people's pains and ailments in answer to those prayers.  What will He do tomorrow?  I'm not sure, but I would love your prayers as I (and potentially others from my women's Bible study) go out to pray, share, and invite people to our Christmas service this weekend.  Please pray that God gives us boldness and the words to speak through the Holy Spirit, and pray for ready hearts to hear about and receive eternal life through Jesus!

  Money in the Bank

We are getting closer and closer to our end-of-year financial support goal!  Here's where we are since Giving Tuesday (counting donations received so far):

This means we only need 6% more in monthly giving (around $450 more per month) to reach our goal for 2018!  Want to partner with us or learn more about what we're doing?  Click the button below.

How About You?

We would love to hear from you!  What are a few highs and lows in your life recently?  How can we be praying for you?  While Christmas might be some people's favorite time of year, we know it's not that way for everyone.
